The Story
2012: On a summer afternoon, over a coffee a conversation emerged about Swiss outdoor and travel gear. The two men felt a strong need for innovation on the market. However, insisting to preserve the heritage of Swiss craftsmanship they were inspired to create high-end products. The two men decided to unite their design, production, marketing and industry experience – on that day Ruigor was created.
During the following years, aiming to ignite a fresh spark in the industry, they invested in research and development until the first products were ready for launch. Ruigor’s story has just begun. Stay ready and follow our journey for more things to come!
Swissness
Ruigor strongly identifies itself with its origin in the heart of Europe. The values Swiss products are known for are mandatory for our products. Hence, the Ruigor sign is a seal for quality, innovation and precision for all of our products throughout our manufacturing plants around the world. The production in Switzerland is a strong pillar of our global production strategy to create state of the art products with outstanding customer value. Therefore, we keep investing to increase our manufacturing in Switzerland and thus our Swiss product portfolio. Ruigor customers can be guaranteed that all products are marked with its place of origin. Please note that only products marked with ‘Swiss-Made’ are manufactured in Switzerland.
Social Responsibility
We relate our sponsoring to team sports and younger athletes. Doing sports does not only benefit our health, stress-release and social competence, it also teaches to reach out for our goals.
Every year, Ice Hockey Teams around the world select the best players of their leagues forming teams to compete at PeeWee, the youth world championship in Quebec, Canada. For the 2016 championship, Ruigor supported the Swiss Eastern Selects Team with funds and products, both for team members and to distribute to the fans at the games. The backpacks came in handy at the tournament in February when the whole team spend one week in Canada, far away from home.
